Getting started

Is this made by Hevy?: No. Hevy Studio is independent and built on Hevy’s public API.
What do I need?: A Hevy account. With Hevy Pro, connect an API key from Hevy’s developer settings. Without Pro, import your workouts from a Hevy export or a share link, and your routines from their share links.
I don’t have Hevy Pro. What is different?: Your folders, routines and programme live in Studio, and an approved change becomes your Studio plan for you to enter in Hevy yourself. A routine you already train comes across from its Hevy share link; completed sessions come from your Hevy export or a share link. The Coach, the diary, blocks and progression are the same.
Can I switch between Pro and Standard later?: Not yet. The connection is fixed when the account is made, so taking Hevy Pro later means a new Studio account. Switching is planned.

Does it change my Hevy account without asking?: No. You see every change before it goes. The one exception is a training block with automatic updates on, and then only inside the limits you set.
Can it log or edit a workout?: No. It reads your workouts, and never logs, edits or deletes one in Hevy.
Can I undo a change?: Every update saves the routine before and after, and you can restore an earlier version from the routine’s history. Restoring adds a version; it never erases one.
Can it delete a routine or a folder in Hevy?: No. Hevy’s API has no delete, so a routine or folder created from here stays until you remove it in the Hevy app.

What is stored, and who can see it?: Your API key if you connect one, encrypted and never shown again. Your imported workouts, chats and diary entries, so the Coach can read them back. The people running Studio can open them for support, and every such read is logged.
Is there a limit on how much I can ask?: Each account has a weekly chat credit, Monday to Sunday. Once it is spent, chat answers from a smaller reserve model, and a little further on it pauses until the credit resets. Session reviews are free and never draw on it.
